Tideways can send notifications to you about these problems:

  1. Response Time exceeds a threshold

  2. Failure Rate exceeds a threshold

    • Failure Rate for Transaction exceeds threshold

  3. New Release and Comparison Against Past Release Performance

  4. New Exception/Fatal Error

  5. New Slow SQL Query

  6. Tracepoint Completed

To send these notifications Tideways integrates with email, Slack, Microsoft Teams, OpsGenie, PagerDuty, and Splunk OnCall.

Incidents can be viewed under the Issues section:

For response time incidents the UI includes a list of the most degraded transactions.

For each transaction you can directly find the root cause of the performance changes by comparing all available traces before and after the marker using trace aggregation.
