Daemon Disabled By Tideways Backend

This troubleshooting page clarifies an error that can be found in the /var/log/tideways/daemon.log file.

If the trial of your Tideways account ends or the subscription is paused or cancelled, Tideways will set daemons into a "disabled" mode that will cause all data to be discarded and our backend is only contacted about changes to the subscription state irregularly.

If you have a valid subscription or just subscribed and you see this message in your daemon.log, then you might need to wait 15 minutes or more until it gets resolved or you can restart the daemon to expedite the process.
